Little bits of snow was piled here and there on the flat green grass of the valleys. Winter was coming to an end and spring was already among the world. How quickly winter had come and gone. The snow sprinkled the short green grass of the valley, sometimes being a little pile, sometimes just sprinkling it. A young brown rabbit leapt into a pile of snow and sent it flying everywhere, running in fright. It's eyes were large and it kicked out in panic, running nowhere, only away from what was chasing it. A big white beast, running after it, tongue hanging out of it's mouth and a bit of a happy expression on it's face. It's ears were big, fluffy and white and it had a long bushy tail. It's legs were big and long and it quickly caught up to the rabbit, but it didn't pick up the rabbit, it stopped and let the poor thing run again for a few minutes. Then it sprang into the chase again and slowly caught up to it, and this time when it caught up to it it slowly to a walk and then pounced on it like a cat and broke it's neck in a rather quick action.

It had rather large, white, fluffy wings that were folded against her sides. When she finished eating the rabbit and tossed snow over the bones and turned around. She stretched, then shook herself and leisurely put her body on the warming ground. The sun shown down on her white fur, making it seem to sort of glow. She leaned toward one side so that she lay somewhat on her side and closed her eyes. She still left an ear open to the outside world in case someone tried to attack her. Sleep didn't come easy because she kept thinking that she heard something, but it never got close enough for her to worry about. A memory came to her mind as she began to get sleepy.

'Two wolves, a wolven and a wolfess were snarling at each other. Their fur was bristling, and they were shouting back and forth at each other. This was a year ago. A white wolf with gorgeous, big, white wings was in between them. She slowly backed off while they were arguing and they didn't even notice. When she was far enough off she took flight and left them. They still didn't notice a thing. Bristling, snarling, growling. Hatred on both sides. They took no notice of anything but the argument. It was something about the wolfess' sister being the wolven's mate and she died or something.'

Then sleep devoured the wolfess and her breathing became slow but indefinite. She still left one ear to the outside world, listening to see if someone would come. Pass by, or just come over. Or prey passing by a sleeping predator.
